Beautiful location, amazing food every time and a peaceful and relaxing dining area with fireplace. Highly recommended. The photos say it all!

Ambermere Restaurant

We received a red balloon voucher for a 3 course meal here and we were certainly not disappointed. The lunch was fabulous and we all thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and very knowledgeable about the produce and wines of the local area. The ambience of the Inn is lovely, with the fires warming up the room. We never felt rushed at all and indeed enjoyed several conversations with the Chef and owner. The servings were very generous and we certainly did not need any dinner that evening! We combined this lunch with an overnight stay in Blackheath which made the whole weekend sensational. Would thoroughly recommend this experience!

We were given this a gift. We booked which was easy. We drove and found easy parking. We were welcomed in and seated near a lovely open fire. The menu is from local produce and was just delicious. My wife had the goat and I had the rabbit pie. The flourless chocolate cake and the pear tart were excellent for desert. A very nice experience. Not sure about wheelchair access but no stairs.
